Louis Patrick Blond received his PhD from the University of Edinburgh on The Relationship between Nihilism and Metaphysics in the Work of Martin Heidegger. His research focuses on the crisis of meaning and ground in modern philosophy and philosophy’s relationship with religious discourse. He has since been Research Fellow at the Shalem Center, Jerusalem and is currently authoring a book Heidegger and Nietzsche: Orientation in Thinking and conducting research into the topic of homelessness in Franz Rosenzweig, Emmanuel Levinas and other twentieth century Jewish thinkers.
